Why do I have to download software to create my Photo Books?
We want you to be able to put your images wherever you want on the page, in the shape and size you want. Online editing options simply can’t offer this at speed. It takes just a few minutes to download our proven, unique and powerful software, and once it’s on your computer it’s so easy to use and gives you complete control.
How do I download your software?
It’s easy. Just click on the link from any page of our site, and follow the instructions on your screen. It does it all for you. Once our software is installed on your computer you can start making your personalised photo books, photo albums straight away.
How long does it take to download the Photo Book software?
As a guide it should to take about three minutes from the time you press ‘run’, if you have a broadband connection of 8mb or more.
Will your software damage my computer?
Never. The unique software has been fully tested and de-bugged to ensure its compatibility.

What happens if I get warning triangles with the 'low quality message'?
Most images will reproduce fine in the printed product. If you have images from a mobile phone or a low Megapixel (2 Megapixel for example) camera then the finished print quality will only be as good as the image provided.
Can I re-order the same book without having to upload my pages again?
Yes, you can save specific photos and projects within the software to use again later.
Can I cut and paste text from other packages into text boxes?
Yes – use Ctrl-C to copy (or right button) to copy your text and then open then double click your text box within your photo book then Ctrl-V to paste (or right button) the text into the text box.
Can I use my own image as a background in the photo books?
Yes – ‘Drag and drop’ you picture to the relevant page/s, right click your mouse and select fit to page or spread.
How do I crop my images after I have placed them into a picture box?
Double click on the photo (in the picture box) that you want to crop. The image box editor will open and then you can define the area you want and resize if required with drag and drop.
My pictures resize when I rotate them, how can fix this?

Should I update the software?
Check the updates and choose whether to update the software. We recommend you do update, as from time to time we will add new products and services. If you select any of the boxes available to update then just press start button and the software will automatically start the update process. You may need to restart your computer for the updates to take full effect.
How do I add or insert photographs into the program or photo book?
To add your photos into the program simply click on the "plus" sign in the top left hand side and browse your pictures from your local machine. These images will then appear on the left hand side. You can then click and drag the new images anywhere within your photo book.
How do I use the page styles/backgrounds etc that you have supplied?
First select the backgrounds or page styles tab, then find the background or page style you wish to use and drag and drop it to your desired page within your photo book.
How do I make a picture fit the whole page?
Right click your image once it is on your page, selecting "fit" and then "fit to page"
When I change the size of my photo by using the grab handles in the corners of the photograph, the image cuts parts off, why is this?
This is because the Photo Book software recognises that you’re changing the shape of the image. Just double click the image that’s placed in the Photo Book and then you can crop and move around the image to fit your new sized image box.
Can I save page styles that I’ve created and want to use on another Photo Book or page?
Yes, on the same bar where the "Page Styles, Masks, Backgrounds and scrapbook" tabs are located there is a cog with a down arrow. Click on here and you can save either page or the spread and name it. When you have done this, your bespoke page style will be saved in the "page styles" tab.
What are the blue and red lines around the edge of each Photo Book page?
The blue line indicates the edge of the page and the red line indicates the trim line. Anything that exceeds the red line will be lost. When creating a spread or a full page image it’s recommended that you go to the blue line, this is to reduce the chance of white marks around the edge, be careful to contain the focus of the image within the red line however.
What does the autoflow button do?
When you use the autoflow function the program will simply fill your book for you including any present page styles. This is dependant on whether you choose "picture order" or "picture orientation".
How do I add pages to my Photo Book?
Simply click on "page" in the top left bar of the program and select "add".
When I place one of my photographs on a page and then drop another photograph over the top I can’t see the second photograph, why is this?
Right click on an image you will see the button for "align" click here and it will allow you to bring images to the front, send them to the back, bring forward and send back. This will then determine your picture order.
